  1. Yes, that is the Walmart one with the addition of a camera stand. It is less than $50, so get it at Walmart. It will hold everything up to a small 4-engine 72nd scale a/c. I have started using the 2 sec shutter delay and it makes a big difference in the photos.
  2. Very nice. Especially in that small scale.
  3. Neat photo of an L-29. I hadn't seen an Iraqi one before.
  4. Beautiful work. Starfighter has breathed new life into these old kits.
  5. Mark, I have many of the old National convention programs. Any interest in me scanning them and you putting somewhere with the otehr Nats stuff?
  6. Ditto. That took a lot of patience.
  7. Great question. Looking forward to the answer.
  8. Good show and now snow! Yea. Had fun. Some fantasic models.
  9. Ed, You know that the first job of every lawyer is to make work for other lawyers!
  10. I am fascinated and repulsed at the same time.
  11. I just dump everything in an old shoe box.
  12. Ni Hao! Meili. 美丽 Whose paints did you use?
  13. As pointed out above, a number of aftermarket decal sets for the Ju-52 are available. I am assuming you have the 72nd scale version.
  14. Very interesting. Thanks for posting.
  15. Rob, Even now there are folks who not only remember the Matchbox kits fondly, but build them and their CBK (Classic British Kits) brethern. Scale Aviation Modeller Int'l has been runninng a series by Mike Grant in each issue where he takes one of these older kits and using modern techniques, turns out mini-masterpieces. At the risk of pluging a modeling forum other than this one, the UAMF (Unoffical Airfix Modeling Forum) is a place where folks meet to discuss these kits. BTW, Revell Germany seems to be the folks who have the old Matchbox molds.
  16. Mr Surfacer 1200 in a rattle can is excellent and works as a primer for both acrylic and enamel paints.
  17. Rusty, I don't think the Confederates were ever released. I have 3 or 4 boxes of the Union ones. PM me.
  18. Sweet looking. Love the F1 cars.
  19. Love the track color and your exhausts. What did you do?
  20. I love the finish. Very realistic.
  21. It was MUCH better after MST3K did it! :P Rusty, That is true of nearly every film MST3K took a shot at. BTW, I would nominate any of the Star Wars prequels. Awful big-budget film making.
  22. Rusty, I think you are thinking of that fine feature film that was unjustly overlooked by the Academy at Oscar time, "Santa Claus CONQUERS the Martians"
  23. That is great Rusty. I neat little model.
  24. Is the model gloss coated prior to placing the decals? Decals stick much better to a glossy surface.
  25. You ought to limit this to big budget, mainstream films. There are some stinkers.
