Dennis,
The professional photographer in our club convinced me to shoot in RAW. I got Photoshop Elements to process the shots. There is so much that can be done with a RAW photo.
Nice job with some old kits. As to the panel lines, I think that they come off a little stark. I have the same problem with folks who use a mechanical pen or pencil to run into engraved lines on newer kits. I think that a wash tends to give a more subtle and uneven look to the panel line. My 2 cents.
That is a great donation. We all ought to think about IPMS/USA when making out our wills so we don't have to hope that our families will act so wisely.
That is nice. I considered the vacuform kit as well as the resin one out of NZ, but for once my patience paid off. You are right Ron, there isn't much out there, information-wise.
The new Frrom-Azur Vildebeest is on its way to the Knights' Court of Last Resort. I've wanted to do this one ever since I read Bloody Shambles. Now I need info. Cockpit and detail photos, etc. Anything you can point me to would be appreciated.
I have a bunch of early IPMS Magazines, so early that they are the UK magazine with a 4 page "wrap-around" that detailed the happenings in IPMS/USA. I don't know how far back they go. I'll look.
