I spent the afternoon with the President of Badger at Huntsville last October. He confirms that Badger will repair and recondition, free of charge, any of their airbrushes. I can confirm this to be the case, since several of the members of our club have taken advantage of this service over the years. BTW, Badger's new Renegade airbrushes are excellent. I bought a Velocity and love it. More here.

If you choose to go a different route, I can tell you the Tamiya 72nd Corsair is one of the nicest models I've ever built.

I believe they were ADC Gray (ADC=Air Defense Command) It is in the Model Master Enamel range.

Without seeing an example it is hard to say. Here is a guess: Your lighting brings out the reds. Different lighting can "bring out" different colors to different extents. As an example, look at the same paint job under natual, incandecent and florescent lighting. What is your lightsource? Try changing it and see if that makes a difference. You can ameliorate the effects of the light source by, among other things, setting your white balance under the lighting conditions you are using. That will "shift" the colors somewhat to compensate for the lighting effects. My 2 zloty.

The problem is that the plowed snow quickly freezes into an ice wall and no amount of digging will get you out. Great dio.

She got it off eBay. I live in a house full of females. Even the cats are females. The man cave is my one all-male area.

The modelwife got me the perfect accessory for the model room. It is a sign, made from painted sheet steel, not sure how it was cut.

On the completed shelf in 72nd scale (God's one true scale), I have Me-109 (2) MiG-17 (2) Unbuilt, I have way more MiG-21s than anything else.

Love it. I want to build that one. How was it? Any tips?
