  3. I always wanted that kit. Not enough lawn mowing money at that time. The kit looks great Bob. Bill
  4. Nice job Bryan! They all look great. How about a nice SUV for them all to get to their destination? Bill
  5. EXSSSSelent! Maybe the bow string broke on the armor plates? Bill

Yery cool! You captured the skin and hair color great. Beware the Ide's of March. Bill
  9. The diving judges give it a 10. Well executed. Bill
  10. Great job Gil! That Nautilus support is well worth the money for this build. It's nice to see a black radome on one of these birds. Cool scheme too. Bill
  11. Looking great so far! As for another big kit, it isn't...it's ultra big. Cockpit looks fantastic. Bill
  12. Great job, Ron. The railings and such that you added really set that off nicely. Did the rail come with the kit or is it a piece of HO track? Bill
  13. Well done, sir! Since we mere mortals can't see anything really wrong here; what were the worst sticking points? Fit and finish look great. Bill
  14. Looks great...even without a base. Bill
  15. Nice work! You can tell the lineage of the TV series from this ship. Great idea. Bill
  16. Well done. Your attention to the small things really make an interesting build. Really great work done so far! Bill
  17. Thank you guys. This was a fun model to build. I didn't like the decal options in the kit though. I couldn't find any on line either. So I made my own. Gil, The seat belts helped the cockpit a lot. I forgot to get a descent shot of them though. There were to seated figures that came in the kit that were really nice. I almost used them but i am going to save them for another build. The brake lines on the main gear really helped there too. Christopher, I used bare metal foil cut to size and then wrapped it around the strut. I like how it looks with so much oleo showing. Bill
  18. Hi all, This was supposed to be a quick build, which it basically was. I started putting things together and before I knew it, it was practically done. I added some seatbelts in the cockpit and some brake lines and such on the landing gear. I also took the step out of the the leading edge slat area (the red area) where the top of the wing transitions to the slat well. The paint scheme came from the Classic Air Frames 1/48 kit. Paints used were Vallejo and Model Master. I resized the CA decal sheet from the kit and printed it on my computer. Overall they came out pretty good. I like the color scheme with the three blues/grays. This kit is ancient but it fit great. The detail is accurate and there aren't a million pieces. What's not to like? Any comments always welcome. Bill

BOOM, BOOM, out go the lights! Cool looking conversion project Bryan. Great job as usual. Bill
  20. Nice job on a very spindly looking kit. I don't mind PE but I don't know if I would tackle something that is just that...'a better man than me, Gunga Din'. Very interesting subject that really paved the way to the moon. Bill
  21. Nice work Duke. Did the kit come with the floded wing option? Well done. Bill
  22. Blue Tail Flies...impressive. Both look great Gil. I am currently working on the 1/32 Hasegawa TA-4J kit of ancient vintage. I hope it comes out as well as either of these two builds. Bill
  23. Nicely done, sir! Really like the Gainful. Bill
