  4. Photos look fine to me. Well done!
  5. I wish I could get those for a reasonable price. They look like great kits.
  6. Well done! She looks like a brand new desk model. It reminds me that I repaired a desk model for a client some years back. It was a large scale Cessna corporate jet. Broken in many pieces due to a bad moving experience. He really thought he never see it in one piece again. The model I repaired was a hard foam model sanded and painted to match the owner's paint scheme.
  7. During the month of March, we will be doing OOP. That is any model kit that has been Out Of Production at least one year. Any scale, era or model. So blow the dust off those models and start clicking. Be sure to hold off until Mar 1 before posting.
  8. I was getting nauseous until I noticed the photo was upside down. Be sure to post in progress pics.
  9. It will be interesting to see if a model that will fit in a shoe box at that price will make it in the marketplace. Currently there are ship kits on the market with more coming close to that price range. However, they are MUCH larger (1/200 scale). There is a lot to be said for the incredible detail the kit provides, but is all that detail worth the price to potential buyers? It will be interesting to see.
  10. I wasn't aware they ever made a figure kit to the 2001 movie.
  11. I was wondering where you put all those models you build.
  12. Like the title says, any figure, any era, any scale, mounted dismounted, real, sci-fi, historic, etc.. Let's see what you got. I see lots of figures posted on the site every day. Be sure to hold off posting your pics until the first.
  13. The forum grew by 12%. Hope we can continue with even better numbers.
  14. EXXXXXXXcelent collection! A joy to see. Thanks for posting Gil. Love them Pea Shooters!

  16. We'll bring in the new year with Yellow Wings! Any aircraft developed during the period between the wars is eligible as long as it has yellow wings. Be sure to hold off on your posts to this subject until Jan.1.
  17. It's the little things that always make a great model.
  18. Even the golden oldies can be made into impressive looking models with a little work.
  19. Okay, I finally found someone who figured out the opening sequence. He said that it showed the aliens as the creators of the human race. It was indicated by the DNA splitting and dispersing in the water. I never would have got that.
  20. I agree. The modeling world is changing rapidly and all head judges need to review the rules for their respective categories yearly to stay current with the times.
  21. Hey guys. I can see where this is going. Let's not get too thin skinned and start taking things personally, because I am certain it wasn't meant that way. Things get done when we participate using civil discourse.
  22. "RECON" Specially designed subjects to spy on the "other side" from recon balloons in the Civil War to the SR-71 have been used since there has been conflict. These subjects have proved to be some the most innovative ever produced. Let's see what you got. If it was used for reconnaissance, it belongs here. Be sure to hold off until the first of Dec. before posting.
