Mark, those are some great scores! I love the airliners, and that Light Cruiser looks like it will be an awesome kit! And of course one can never go wrong with a Tamiya Skyraider!

As for me, I finally pulled the trigger and bought something from my new job, now that the employee discount has kicked in. These kits came in during the week, and I just couldn’t say no. Sort of an early birthday present from me to myself 😉

Well, this week I really pulled the trigger at work... (after approval with the family CFO 😉  )

The paints were a bit more than I needed… the Russian Greens I’ll likely use up in the long run with all the Russian armor in my stash. But I have to buy by the same rules as customers. Mr Hobby/Mr Color paints in sets of 6, AK in sets of 3, box sets can be purchased solo…

Excellent scores guys! I only have two to show. One is from the Distressed Kit Auction my club does every June and December. It's a 1/25 scale Lindbergh Lincoln Continental:

full

The other was gifted to me by a friend in my St. Crispin's Irregulars group. It's a Zvezda 1/350 scale HMS Revenge snap kit:

full

I also recently got a lot of  glue, Tamiya tape and some lacquer thinner to replenish my supplies., but didn't shoot pics of any of it.

That's all for now.

An old 1/72 Frog Vicker's Vimy Mk. VI heavy bomber. This will match an old 1/72 Air Lines kit of the Vimy flown by Alcock and Brown in 1919.

I have picked up these things over the past few weeks…

IMG_9869.jpg

Most of these off eBay, aside from the Value Gear set…

IMG_9887.jpg

and these that we got in at work recently, that I am really wanting to try out…

My latest pickups are these. I finally use my SoCal AMPS won store credit at Brookhurst Hobbies from the 12 hour build contests to pick up these kits

IMG_9917.jpg

IMG_9916.jpg

I gotta say that the Emerson TOW Hammerhead TOW turret is the best that I've seen in 1/35. They captured most every detail including the three separate sights, as well as the optical ducting!

Then I had tried to get this one thru Brookhurst as well, but it was not available from their wholesalers, but I did find it an Andy's this past Saturday...

I just need the AVLB and CEV, and my Patton family will be pretty much complete.

Brilliant scores Carlos! I built the M103A1 in 1/72 scale. Fun kit!

I got these recently:

1/4 scale Grogu from the Mandalorian:

full

I got him at the San Diego Comicon on sale.

This one was purchased for me at the IPMS Nationals this past month by a friend:

Guided Missile Fleet and Seaplane Tender kit of three in one:

full

Now I need to source some new decals for the USS Boston to make it the Canberra since I already built a Boston. My Boston model was given to me as a gift by a former USS Boston crew member who lived next door to us.

That's all for now.

Mark, the Grogu kit looks like an excellent score! I do love the old Revell Guided Missile Fleet set too!

As for me… I used my employee discount for supplies this past week.

I am starting to use the AK 3rd Gen Acrylics, and so far I do like how they work. I also like these small 3 or four color paint sets. Very handy.

Between Nats and my LHS I have picked up a bit too much.  Don't have photos but added the new Airfix Chinook, Liberator and Gladiator with Norwegian markings to the stash.  Also picked up Overtrees from Eduard for their new 72nd scale P-51D, P-51D-5 (I don't see a difference as they have multiple options in each) & Bf-109G-14.  I also acquired the new Revell James Bond Aston Martin DB5, the Monarch Space Suit, Moebius 2001 Space Station and a bunch of books from Detail & Scale, Phoenix and Casemate.  Yep, my suitcase was a bit heavy coming home from Madison.

Thank you Carlos, yes, I was very happy to find that Grogu! Nice scores for yourself too, excellent!

Phil, I'm glad you had such an incredible time at the Nats and scored so many great things. Enjoy!

Well......I have a problem. My problem is that I build plastic models and I can't stop. Now I have started to slide into the dark side and picked up 3 car kits...........sigh. Will the madness ever cease?? Picked up two Tamiya 1/12 Formula 1 kits....the Matra is soooooo cool!, the Moebius 1971 Ranger XLT and to add insult to injury, decided to pick up the ArmaHobby P-51B dual kit for the IPMS review site.

Hello my name is Carlos, and I’m a plastiholic… 😏

I’ve picked up these two items recently

IMG-9990.jpg

One can always use more 1/35 Panzer crewmen…

Awesome stuff guys! While on vacation I was able to pick these up from John's Models:

full

He also had these available, which I snapped up because of all the spillage I keep having:

Upon my return, I worked a tabletop game convention and was able to pick up these:

Those will go toward my M*A*S*H compound when I start making it. Yes, they are a bit bigger than 1/72 scale, but I always considered those characters larger than life for me anyway. LOL! We'll see how things go once something happens.

That's all for me for now.

I like the M*A*S*H figures.  Only ones I have seen before were the Monogram ones in 35th scale with their M*A*S*H sets.

When Sprue Brothers put the entire Eduard line on sale --- if it had Spitfire on the box and I didn't have it, I bought it.

About three weeks ago, I finished a house painting job that netted me three large so I decided to celebrate by catching up on models I'd been wanting to buy for awhile. First, I ordered these from BNA Model World since they were the only ones to have some of these:

Three Academy Abrams. One will be made US Marine, the other Egyptian and the third Australian since this kit came with all three marking options:

full

Riich Models Paladin I will make Israeli:

full

Trumpeter Russian MLRS on the Uragan truck:

full

 Trumpeter Canadian Leopard 2A6M:

full

Hobby Boss German Artilleriewagen:

full

And finally, this Trumpeter American LaFrance Fire Pumper:

full

Later on, I had to go get some medical tests done and Tony's Hobbies and Toys was right next store. More 'celebrating happened after my doctor visit:

First some more glue and supplies since I've been going through all this like water through a sieve:

full

Next I found these Japanese troops with a howitzer and realized these had been on my list for awhile to get so I bought them:

full

Another model I had been wanting:

full

I got this because it had wheels; the other kit I already had in the stash had only skis:

full

And this last one was just unique enough that I had to get it:

full

And that's all I have until my blacksmith shop comes in. I may even buy more when I get paid for these next two jobs....

I’ve been in Delaware for the last week visiting my Dad and we stopped at the only hobby shop in this part of the state.  I did manage to find a couple kits.

Head back to Baltimore tomorrow to fly home Friday and there is a shop in MD on the way.  Will see if I add anything more.

Well, after this weekend’s Andy’s HHQ warehouse sale madness, I walked away with these goodies for myself.

For my ships I picked up this 1/350 Russian SSBN

IMG-0579.jpg

And for my armor I picked up these figure sets

IMG-0577.jpg

these 1/35 track sets

Thank you Carlos! And they all came in perfectly sealed!

The last of my celebratory treats finally arrived, allowing me to have a well stocked hobby room, at least for a few months.

Here they are in no particular order:

That's it for now. Time to get to the bench....
