I remember that show, but can't remember what it was about. I would love to get ahold of one of those DVD sets to see it again.

Well, I'm just a 1/72 scale armor modeler, but the glues I've used on those old school vinyl tracks are either Gorilla Glue, or that PVA glue this is used to fasten PVC piping together. Never had a problem. In fact, the tracks ended up breaking in other places beside the join because they were glued so strong. I agree about Dragon tracks. They ROCK! I've found that Trumpeter's black vinyl tracks also hold well with old-style Testor's orange tube glue.

That Heyford is incredible! Well done also on the finish on the 727. Very impressive.

Stunning work there.

From one Mark to another, Welcome back. Just call me "Duke" to keep the confusion down. Feel free to check out some of my 1/72 scale civilian aircraft under "A Goal Has Been Achieved". I also started another one yesterday; a Cessna Arrow II. Hopefully I'll have that one done soon. Looking forward to seeing some of your work.

Well, my 2011 projects will be what I didn't finish last year, as well as the 1/32nd jet I'm building. Plus, I have two airships as well as a modern US Cruiser and an armored train to finish. This is what is planned so far; it doesn't include the 40+ other models I might decide to start and finish this year.

I'll show you mine, you show me yours!

Chris, great output with some very high quality models! Those look awesome! Gil, I know, I'm so embarrassed But you do have a way with words my man! Yeah, I did have a whole month of not producing anything, that's when I was doing a major home repair project. Hopefully this year I'll catch up and even surpass that; although I do hope to be getting more large jobs as well. And Gil, just put all your models you built in 2010 on a table and shoot them all at once! -

Hey everyone! Here is the complete list of models finished by me for 2010. I managed to get only forty-eight finished this past year. Man, I'm really slowing down! I gotta do something about that! Here they are sorted out by type and nation. I didn't want to take the extra time to list them by month they were finished in. I'll start out with my ships since I only finished one this past year. This is the Trumpeter 1/700 scale French battleship Richelieu: Next are my aircraft. I'll start with the only helicopter I finished this year: Fujimi 1/72 scale Japanese KV-107 Shirasagi Next I'll show all my civilian aircraft I finished in 2010, thus completing a goal I'd set in '07 Here they are in no particular order: 1/72 scale Cessna Skymaster: 1/72 scale Beechcraft Bonanza: 1/72 scale Piper Cherokee: 1/72 scale Piper Aztec: The last civilian aircraft I built, and the largest model I finished in 2010, my 1/285th scale Graf Zeppelin: Next is one of my MPC kits I built, and one of two raffle prizes won in the Phoenix Nats. Well, here's more progress. It's going to be tight getting these done by the end of the year. Here's the B-25. I got the decals on and used copious amounts of Solvaset since these were the original MPC decals. The cloudiness you see will go away once I re-coat this in Future. I've had this happen before and it always goes away. Next, I got almost all the assembly done on the YF-12A. Here she is sitting on her landing gear: Just a couple seams to fix and then I can get her painted. This is a view of the underside showing the AIM 47 AA Missiles. These were built specifically for this aircraft and were also the predecessors of the AIM 54 Phoenix Missile: And finally, I got the camo pattern on my ERC 90 Sagaie armored car. Next up: clearcoat, decals, dullcoat and weathering. That's about all for now. Stay tuned for more.

What's on your "Shelf of Shame" and why?
Mark Deliduka replied to Mark Deliduka's topic in General Modeling
It would make a great group entry at the Nats in Omaha. Have an entry for each genre; ships, planes, figures, autos, etc. with an explanation why each was so awful. And maybe include the 'before' pics as well. Interesting. Makes me wish I was able to attend the Omaha Nats, it would be great to enter this category. -
