  1. F/S U.S. only (Big box) Big 1/29 Revell Snap Tite Max T-65 X-Wing. Pre-Painted as Luke Skywalker's Red 5. This is the largest injection molded kit of a T-65. I have read reviews stating this as 1/29 and or 1/30th. This would fit in right next to your 1/32 F-14, 15s etc. There are many fantastic 3D printed upgrades for this kit on Shapeways (308bits) and Falcon3Dparts. Revell released this kit at 100.00 years ago. It was out of production and soon became a high price collectible. Revell Germany recently repopped it and it retails for $160! Here's your chance to get o
  2. Nicely done. I have that relic in my stash somewhere. Mine was a KMart exclusive that came as a double kit. I don't remember offhand what the other kit in that set was. Max Bryant
  3. Hi Guys My Wife just surprised me and told me we are going to the Nats. It is on my bucket list to go to one more since I haven't been to one since about 2000-2001. Anyway I won't be entering anything and I noticed daily admission is $12 but in the past I always pre- registered and I see pre-registration is closed. so how much is it to register at the door and will my wife be able to accompany me into the contest room vendor area? TIA Max Bryant #25146

  5. For Sale. Revell Germany easy kit #06690 X Wing Fighter. This kit is reportedly 1/29th to 1/30th scale. I've also seen a review on the RPF where a gentleman states he measured it against published dimensions and it comes out closer to 131.5 scale. So fits in to a 1/32 collection Anyway this kit is as close as you're going to c ome to a studio scale kit in a mainstream injection molded plastic model! Yes it is a snaptite and pre-finished but the canvas is there to take it to the nth degree of detailing. These retailed for close to $100 when they were available and Revell Germany is slated

  7. Like Dave M. The oldest thing I am trying to save is Me! Now kit wise I guess it would be an old Lindberg Flying Saucer. The one they used in Plan 9 From Outer Space as the FX model... Max Bryant
  8. I don't offhand know of availability but True Details made/make a 110 resin cockpit. Also a bit of trivia. The Mauve 110-G kits used the Fujimi kit as its base kit.... Max Bryant
  9. I had this when I was a kid and loved it! This brings back a lot of good memories. All that remains of mine is the German tank. Good luck on the sale Cheers Max Bryant
  10. Mark I would say you took that one all the way on that finish. Just beautiful! Max Bryant
  11. You have two solid airbrushes that you already sell. If I was looking to add a few for variety I would add the single action Badger 200 and the double action 150. I use the same Paasche H that I convinced my Dad to buy me when I was in H.S. 37 years ago. I learned on an H in Drafting class and therefore I prefer the heft of the fatter Paasche Brushes. I have a V and I also have several Badger brushes. The Badgers are fine products but they are slimmer than the Paasche. So if you bring in the Badger products you will have fine products from two manufacturers. It comes down to the customer
  12. I never find anything but broken toys at the Thrift Store. I actually used to find an odd kit here and there but that was years ago. Last few times I was ever there, I noticed the same guy parked by the door that they wheel the stuff out to the floor. I actually saw him stop the worker so he could rifle through the cart. I guess these days you have to wrestle the EBay resellers to get anything decent. Nice haul..... Max Bryant
  13. I think it may be a product of Gull Models. I don't think Wings ever did a 202, but I may be wrong Nice model BTW Max Bryant
  14. Coming along nicely but alot of scratchbuilding going on here. Max Bryant
  15. Looks Good. Had to smash mold afterall.... Well you learned something new... Max Bryant
  16. Your Paint cap looks very much reminds me of the C-57D! Love the Galactica kits and your Baseship is very nice! Max Bryant
  17. I was a teenager and was entranced by Star Wars. Great movie with some neat if not ill fitting kits. I saw Black Hole and was really let down. So my vote goes to Black Hole. I bought the kits and they still languish unbuilt in the stash! Now a couple of you guys have thrown out the name but no one mentions specificlly.. Plan 9. It did not have a kit made per say but the Lindberg/Glencoe/Atlantis flying saucer is used in the film minus the engines. Honorable mention to, Lost in Space the Movie. Nice kits so so movie.... Max Bryant
  18. Does anyone know where I can get a set of instructions for this kit? I have had it for 15 years or better and mine had no instructions. A model club member told me he had a set and I have been waiting 15+ years for them. :-( Is there an online resource like there is for some aircraft instructions??? TIA Max Bryant
  19. Nice Job! I started one of these 10 years ago. I was using pistures from an old Aero publication book I have. I got a fair amount of work done when we sold our house. I have not been able to locate that kit in 10 years and I know it did NOT get left behind! Max Bryant
  20. Absolutely correct on the TOS BSG kits. They came out before the show actually debuted and were available right through to the bitter, ugly, Galactica 1980 debacle of an end. Babylon 5 kits did not appear until that show had almost run its course.... Max Bryant
  21. Hi Tim, I checked out the Moebius site and you are right. I can't find it either but it was up there a little while ago. You can go here http://www.culttvmanshop.com/Battlestar-Ga...TION_p_592.html Hope this helps. Max Bryant IPMS #25146 Club Affiliations= NONE!
  22. Got an email from Steve CultTVMan Iverson and it was confirmed by Frank Winspur (Moebius' owner) Moebius will be reverse engineering the original Aurora Moonbus for a March 2010 release. All I gotta say is YES Max Bryant
  23. Nice model. I too have a soft spot for the old Otaki's/Arri's. So much so that I have multiples and each time a kit purge happens, the Otaki's are spared. Max Bryant
  24. Atsa real nice. I have that kit and decals in the stash from when I was going through my "Display Team" phase. your build is spectacular! Max Bryant
