A year ago I opened this question on the DF. There were many replies, and the choices of models were diverse. Here's a summary of the ONE model that MUST be built in 2011? If you did build it, post a picture of it on this thread so we can see it. Thanks to all who joined the brave forecasters.

David Franks: 1/32 Hasegawa P-47D Thunderbolt "Nose Art"

Kevin Carroll: Battlestar Galactica Viper

Mark Aldrich: Bronco YW-750 or Bronco YW-531C

Eric Aitala: "I'd just like to finish one model ..."

Michael Rechlicz: 1/32 F-4E "Chico the Gunfighter"

Gil Hodges: 1/350 Trumpeter USS Saratoga (pre-WWII)

John Ratzenberger: 1/35 Resicast Rolls Royce Armored Car

Mark Fiedler: 1/32 Curtiss P-6E Hawk vacuform

Chris Graeter: Tamiya Sturmtiger with aftermarket stuff and scratchbuilt items

Jay Mesawitz: "The one on the bench right now."

John Ratzenberger (again?): 1/32 Wingnut Wings RE.8

Chris Batson: 1/24 Mercedes SL65AMG Black Series

Bob Liebman: "I'd just like to finish one model ..."

David Knights: "... everything I've already got halfway started ..."

Mark Deliduka: Armored Train

Robert Dedmon: 1/48 Monovell F-100D in 67th FBS markings

Robert Morales: Tasca M4A1 Mid-production Sherman

Robin Gronovius: 1/16 Tamiya King Tiger

Nope! My Saratoga is still on the shelf! I don't have any place to display it until I build my new display case.

Yes and no, Aurora took back seat to America. Pictures are in March 2012 gallery.

Ed,

Thanks for digging this one out. Great topic.

I only finished two in 2011, one of which was one of my halfway started models.

Nope, to either. I am particularly ashamed that I did not finish the Rolls Royce.

Neither are on the 2012 "must-build" list unless I get really, really, and very unnaturally, productive.

I finished mine with a couple weeks to spare. That means something considering what I went through! I finished this in the second week of December. these pics show it at my December IPMS meeting.

Here it is:
