Looks good to me! Chris :Smile_sceptic: -
I spray with it to seal my models all the time. Clean up is easy, just use windex run through your airbrush. Works well. Chris :Smile_sceptic:

It's all those negitive waves coming from you my friend. Think Positive and they will go away!!! :Smile-tongue: Chris :Smile_sceptic: -
Tim, You need to do some research on the vehicle you are going to build. By this I mean markings/camo. They will determain what campain you are in and what time period/front. Once you know this it will tell you what the camo was. Most German tanks kept thier base camo and painted a white wash over it in winter. This could be easily removed by washing it off in the spring. Also your research will tell you what camo the vehicle had, i.e. ambush pattern. there tone green.brown, yellow etc. Since you will be modeling a King tiger the base color would be dark yellow. On top of this was applied the camo patterns in the feild, then in winter a white wash over that. All depends on the vehicle. time frame. front . unit. etc. Research, research, research. I do not know the IPMS issue yet, That will be up to the editor. Once I complete the review and send it in it is up to the editoral staff. I can tell you that upfront without giving out all the details is it well worth the money for the kit. One of the best I have seen to date. Stay tuned. Chris :Smile_sceptic:

Funny you mention that, as I'm on the review crew and am currently building the new kit from MENG of the M2A3 Bradley BUSK III kit. I should have the review done with in the next month. This one I'm senting into the jounal instead of the regular review prossess on the forum. Stay tuned. If you have never done a armor kit start with a Tamiya ofr AFV kit. simple, good detail, and go together well. I see you like the big scales so try 1/35 scale for armor to start. Best of luck. Mark, Good luck. Last year at Armor con there was a guy promoting 3d modeling. I think there is a big need for this stuff. I can see it mainly in the aftermarket industry, but who knows I'm sure someone will come along and do a full kit. Wonder what the parts count will be. Maybe two, Turret and hull? Who know? Chris :Smile_sceptic: -
Makes you wonder why it took so long? Agreed about time!!!! Chris :Smile_sceptic:

Ken, I always use Tamiya "Gun Metal" paint on my MG's. Try giving them a wash after you paint them, that will tone it down. You will be pleased with the results. Chris :Smile_sceptic:

Here is my completed M48 patton tank that was depicted in the movie "PATTON" as a German DAK tank. This build was built for this years AMPS International show for there theme, Tanks On Film. This was a conversion. I used the old Tamiya M48A3 kit and back dated it with a Legend M48 resin conversion. The commanders cupola was the basic hatch type from Sling Shot models. There is a lot of scratch built items on the tank including over 200 bolt heads on the fender supports that I punched out with a punch & die set. The springs on the loaders hatch where replaced with coiled brass wire made by wrapping the wire around a dental tool. The barrel is a LionRoar 88mm Pak 43 meta one. The tracks are AFV workable set. Enjoy!
