KennyLoup Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Here's my latest build using Tamiya's 1/48 USN pilot set.
Weedeater Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 That's sweet lookin. Great job and thanks for posting it here. It's quite inspirational.
ewahl Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 Well done! Your figures certainly tell a story that is easy to interpret and understand. What paints did you use on the figures? Did you cut up and repose any of them? If, so, I can't tell. Ed

Did you cut up and repose any of them? If, so, I can't tell. Ed Ed, the figures are painted with Vallejo and Citadel paints. And no, they are not repositioned. The only thing I did to them was to print my own maps.
adfogel Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 Outstanding work, Kenny! Does the piece of flight deck come with the figures? later, Lee
KennyLoup Posted June 4, 2010 Author Report Posted June 4, 2010 Lee, the flight deck is scratch built.
KennyLoup Posted June 6, 2010 Author Report Posted June 6, 2010 So, what's next after Midway Gator? A Japanese vignette with the pilots on the deck at the Eastern Solomons battle.
