  1. Looking good. I like the launchers as they give a different look. Bill
  2. Nailed it! Great job...as usual. Bill
  3. May not want to mess with these guys. Really a different kind of figure you captured well. Nice job. Bill
  4. Where's Chim-Chim? Nice rides sir. The Colt looks great also. (Maybe the miscellanious section for it though) Bill
  5. SSSSupurb! Nice job Duke. One of my favorite helos. Now, get to the chopper (hard to type like Arnold).
  6. Short run kits with short shot pieces...lovely combo. Make em work Duke, you always do! The "Tweet" is looking good along with the helos. The "Mudhen" is overall gray anyway. Quit monkeying around with the motor and get that car done. The ammo carrier is pretty cool looking also; it should look nice when finished. Bill
  7. This will look great when you get it all painted up and such. It looks cool in its underpinnings already. Great job so far. Bill
  8. That looks way cool Gil! Did you add the blast plates under the cockpit windows or were they on the kit? Love the paint and CBI markings. Bill
  9. Congrats on the finished product. Looks good. Glad your client likes it too. Bill
  10. Thanks for the tip. It will come in handy vey soon for an ongoing project. Bill
  11. Great save!
  12. Very nicely done sir. And how long did this one take to get built? Love the scheme as it works well with the lines of the kit. Bill
  13. Bill, Nice job...looks the part. Do you tie the line to each section or glue it? Seeing the spot where the lines from the wings meet the tail to mast it's hard to figure what you did. Inquiring minds want to know. Bill
  14. Thanks James. Something different for a project coming up. Bill
  15. Crazy cool. Nice build. Bill
  16. Nice job sir. I remember seeing these at Midway Airport as a wee tyke. You overcame your troubles with this kit magnificently. :smiley31: Bill
  17. Thanks Duke. I like how the foil comes out. It just takes more time than painting and polishing. Bill
  18. I have good luck with Testor's Acryl clear flat. I use their universal thinner and a couple of drops of retarder. I get a dead flat finish. Bill
  19. Well done sir! Very impressive looking "Unicorn" if I do say so. Great job and it's DONE too. Bill
  20. Tiny! It looks pretty darn good for sitting on a shelf all those years. Nice job always, Ed. Bill
  21. That ship is coming along nicely. Looking good so far. Bill
  22. Thank you Ed and Gil. Something to cleanse the palate of camouflage for a change of pace. Bill
  23. Hello all, I finally got around to building...and finishing a model. This is Minicraft's 1/144 Boeing 727-200. It is basically out of the box with just the wheel wells boxed in. I added 2 large nails inside the fuselage to keep its nose on the ground. The decals are from the kit and worked and fit great. The finish is Bare-Metal Foil for most of the kit. Wings and details are MM paints and Alclad dull aluminum and aluminum. The nose was painted with Vallejo Game Colors "Stormy Blue" which matched the dark blue on the decals really well. I haven't built an airliner in ages but I may keep that option open again. All comments welcome. Thanks for looking. Bill
  24. GO Speed Racer, Go speed Racer, Go Speed Racer GOOOOO! Great jump on the builds for the year Duke. Bill
  25. WOW! WOW! WOW! That's all I have...just WOW! Nice work and nice set up. Bill
