  1. Mark, This should be framed and hung in every modelers work area!
  2. Plastic to Plastic - Tamiya Thin, Ambriod liquid, Testors in the black container, Testors liquid. Resin to Plastic - Bob Smith CA or Epoxy. Resin to Resin - Same as above. Canopies to model - Don't model no stinking airplanes. But, would probably use white glue if I did. Also use - Borden White Glue, Ailenes Tacky Glue
  3. I would suggest you get an assorted package. Then, you can see which thickness is right for the job at hand.
  4. I use Model Masters Flat White in the rattle can. They also have a grey primer in the bottle.
  5. How about some pictures of these disorganized work benchs. I'd really like to see Dave M's 37 feet!
  6. RGronovious, you tell my wife she's wrong. I'm not about to.
  7. My wife has informed me there are no more actresses. They're all actors. I have trouble keeping up with the times. They're still actresses to me.
  8. Mike D.'s right. Plan 9 from Outer Space. Another stinker from Ed Wood.
  9. Oh I forgot to mention, in the 7th or 8th grade I saw the movie Thunder Road. That started a dream of becoming a moonshine hauler. Never made it though.
  10. Brings back memories. I had a 57 tudoor post. Mine was a Bel Aire and red with a white top. Had a 340 horse 327 that had been balanced, decked and clearanced. Two AFB 4barrels, dual point ignition, headers, close ratio 4 speed, 4:56 positraction rear end and cheater slicks. I built it for street racing and it ran like a gut shot cat. Ate 383 & 413 dodges, 326 GTOs and even a Olds 442 that a guy trailered down from Spokane (I lived in Vancouver, WA) . There were numerous others, but they were just more specks in the rear view mirror.
  11. I know what it means because I have been and am one.
  12. I think you mean MFIC/WB. Mark, you can email me if you don't understand. Congratulations!
  13. Dishwasher silverware rack to hold tools. I put it on a maple turntable to make it easier to get to everything. Small round tea containers to seperate tools in the rack. Metal file cabinet to hold flamable items like thinner, laquer thinner and other things that are in larger quantities. Coffee cup warmer to keep coffee warm and heat plastic for bending. Sewing ruler with a sliding stop (hemming ruler?) to make quick measurements. Nail polish remover to soften CA glue.
  14. "The Thing" - The original one. Scared the crap out of me as a kid. For days I didn't even want to go out into our yard. "Star Wars" - I couldn't believe what I was seeing. A giant step for special effects. My daughter and I saw it every weekend for weeks when it was first released.
  15. I find Sci-fi is good to get the creative juices flowing.
  16. When you get your skills honed and the planes and armor bore you, you can advance up to building ships. :D I might add that you can also join your nearest IPMS Club. There'll be lots of help for you there from the members.
  17. Yes, the Jeep. Tamiya models are noted for good fit. This is also a fairly simple assembly that shouldn't give you any problems.
  18. Dennis said: I would rather keep it for the clubs to get out information about when they are doing something; meeting nights, contests, special events, etc. It might be a good tool for showing people that there is more to a club than just modeling.
  19. Mark, Try Griffin. They do make barrels. Eduard or Aber might have something too. You're coming closer to the light Mark. Come closer, and closer and you will find peace of mind. :) On second thought, check with Roger. He does all that "big gun" stuff.
  20. You can get them from Snyder & Short. Randy Short is very good to deal with.
  21. As I shoot mostly acyrlics, I usually break down and clean my Badger 200 between colors with alcohol. I have two, a jar feed and a top feed. Wouldn't get rid of them for any expensive airbrush. They do the job I need, as long as I keep them clean. Also, parts are available at almost any hobby or craft store.
  22. Don't feel bad. These "tecky" guys have me scratching my head too. I'm just old fashioned and aren't up on all the terms or texting, which I understand uses lots of cyphers.
  23. Mark said: AHMIT - And How Much Is That?
  24. Disco58, If your wondering about what decals to put on tanks, just put a big target on top. The Naval Aviation guys only look for that.
