Kjundude1 Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 This is the 100MM Michael Roberts 8th LA. This unit is near and dear to my heart. Painted with Vallejo acrylics. Comments and advice always welcome. Chris Fontenot
Mark Deliduka Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 Awesome work James! I do think his uniform is a bit too clean for a Southern Soldier! LOL! Seriously though, I love the subtle shading and affects you've got on him; his face looks awesome too!
Kjundude1 Posted October 23, 2012 Author Report Posted October 23, 2012 (edited) Thank Mark. Chris Fontenot Edited October 23, 2012 by Kjundude1
ghodges Posted October 23, 2012 Report Posted October 23, 2012 I'll echo the praise on your fine figure. His cleanliness and complete equiping just point to the beginning of the War for Southern Independence! GIL
Kjundude1 Posted October 23, 2012 Author Report Posted October 23, 2012 Thank Guys. I just hate weathering. I usually do too much or too little... and it winds up looking like I am trying to cover up a defect :-]

I just hate weathering. I usually do too much or too little... and it winds up looking like I am trying to cover up a defect :-] Yeah, I know how it is. I almost hate weathering too and keep trying to find a simpler way to do it so I can finish something!
