DavidF Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 (edited) Hey all, trying once again to get back into the hobby I've loved since childhood. Gave it a go back in 2006 after a 15 year hiatus, but life did what it does best and got in the way. Hopefully I'll have a bit better luck this time around. WWII aircraft have always been my focus and passion, both full and 1/48 scale. The sound of a big radial engine still makes me beat feet outside to see what's flying over. Still have a few kits stashed away that I hope to get started on soon. Presently I'm getting my work area setup and stocked while I try and remember skills I had and learn new ones from folks like you. Being a resident of southeastern Oklahoma means there's not much in the way of scale model clubs or organizations for a hundred miles or more in any direction, so thank goodness for the internet and forums like this. Hope you guys don't mind if I hang out and ask a few questions here and there. My skills are far below all of you based on what I've seen so far, which is a good thing for me - lots of talented folks to learn from -dave Edited November 28, 2009 by DennisTennant

IPMS Metro and IPMS Oklahoma Historical Modelers Society share members and space in Oklahoma City. Email addies for their Chapter Contacts will be forthcoming to you via PM.
