Agree with Gil. The first airbrush I got given was a single action Paasche H and its 21 years old and still always used.
One advice for any airbrush- make sure your paint is thin enough. Every airbrush has a balance between air pressure, viscosity of paint and type. You just need to hone on the right one for the airbrush you have

I mask my planes with Tamiya tape of the like.
Parafilm has been around and I know people that swear by it. It does stretch but I never could get it to stay in place well.

Nice. mines in the list also. I would add their new Ki61 to your list. Had it assembled and ready for paint in less than a week and I swear you could hear the click when the parts were added
