  2. Everything looks great exept one Very big glaring mistake. You left out the kitchen sink. How is a good tanker going to go into battle without being able to wash his hands. I think you need to take everything apart and start over. I can't believe that you would allow this. Chris
  3. Nice job Duke. I was looking forward to seeing the bridge layer done. Came out nice. Chris
  4. Very cool, I like it. Nice job Mark. Chris
  5. Terry/Mark, Holly Crap!! Now I have to go an add a Micro-scope to my tool bag. Thanks a lot. Chris

  11. Rodolfo, Thank you for your kind coments. Chris
  12. WOW!! You know most of us just build for fun or build to win that fine piece of new hardward to hang on our wall. You have gone way beyond that. Build a model to write a book about it. I have to say that that book will do well. Congrats. Your model is simply amazing. The detail is spot on in everyway. Chris
  13. BTW, very nice work Ron. I'm finding it hard enough to hold tiny road wheels without adding all the rivet work like that !! Now that I know the scale, Ron Wow!!! The detail that you have added is fantastic. Again very well done. Chris
  14. Ron, Very nice. Are those rubber band tracks? They look good. What scale is this? Chris
  15. Mark, Thanks for the heads up. I found this site awhile ago but saw only the figures so I never knew about the other stuff. I booked marked it to my favorites this time. Chris
  16. Mark, Things are looking good so far. I am following this build with much interest. chris
  17. Thanks Richard!
  18. Dick if you are trying to keep up with the Duke as far as output. Forget it, he is the champ. Serious I like everything you have done. The Me-262 paint job really stands out. Nice job. Chris
  19. Never seen a Bradley without it's 20mm cannon. Did the carpet monster eat them? Great progress Mark. That Bridgelayer has my keen interest for some reason.
  20. That was way too cool. I love the fish sub. Thanks for sharing. Chris
  21. Frank, Thank you for your comments The funny part about this build was that it was a dog of a kit to build. So I went with the Turrtle camo pattern just to keep the furstration leave high. I figured if the kit is hard why not do a really hard camo, that way if it comes out looking good then I can say that I Beat the ugly Dog of a kit. It's a modeler mind set thing. Chris
  22. Impressive as always Duke. Chris
  23. Greg & Mark, Thanks for your kind words. Yes the camo was one thing that I am really proud of. The look of the Syrian Turrtle camo is cool. Chris
  24. Thanks Mark, I'll see what I can do for you. ChrIS
  25. Well here it is, finally finished. It is the ESCI kit of the T-55. I painted it as a SYRIAN Army tank that fought in the 1973 YOM KIPPUR War. Other then replacing the kit barrel with a turned aluminum one and adding plumbing lines for the fuel tanks it is OOTH built. This kit fought me from the start. Lots of ejection pins, clean up of flash, etc. The kit tracks plan Stink, as a matter of fact the whole kit stinks. This was my first T-55 kit I have built. Someone gave this kit to me awhile ago so I built it. I took Mark A.'s advice and just bought the Tamiya kit along with a set of Fruil tracks, turned barrel and PE. Looking forward to that build. The Tamiya kit is a thousand times better. Well back to this model. I painted it in the Syrian Turrtle camo pattern with Tamiya paints and weathered it with Mig pigments and pastel chaulks. Also gave it a pin wash with dark amber paint. Set the model on a simple base. It's a dog of a kit, but I think I did the best I could. Enjoy!! As always comments are welcomed. Chris
