SkyKing Posted April 7, 2022 Report Posted April 7, 2022 On a recent modeling podcast, a modeler heard that S. C. Johnson is no longer producing Futre/Klear/Pledge Floor Care. Ge wrote to them to ask, and here is the reply he received: "Hi (name withheld), Thank you for reaching out. I’m sorry to share Pledge® Floor Care is no longer being made. That said, your continued interest has been shared with the Pledge® team." It is the end of modeling as we have known it. 😢 You may send your unbuilt kits to me for disposal.
Mark Deliduka Posted April 7, 2022 Report Posted April 7, 2022 Thank you for that information Mike! You may have just started a run on that product to buy up whatever is in the stores now. As for sending you my unbuilt kits; I don't think you want mine! They're too small; you'd need a microscope to see them! LOL! 1
nmertes Posted April 7, 2022 Report Posted April 7, 2022 I’ll take bids on the bottle I have. We’ll start the bidding at $50.00. ;} 1
cheveuxroux Posted April 10, 2022 Report Posted April 10, 2022 Sounds bad...... Perhaps the events discussed in the movie Ghostbusters ( 1984 ) by Dr. Raymond Stantz, Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore will finally come true.............😁
noelsmith Posted April 13, 2022 Report Posted April 13, 2022 Read on another forum that Johnson's still make it. Apparently it is now branded Revive It. The poster said that he read the formula label on his Kleer and the Revive It to find that they were identical. 1
PaulBradley Posted April 13, 2022 Report Posted April 13, 2022 They've been saying it for years - there is no Future in this hobby anymore..... and now it's true...😉 1
noelsmith Posted October 8, 2022 Report Posted October 8, 2022 There must be an alternative to Klear somewhere out there! It's matter of finding it. I have heard that there is another American product that is similar but not found out the brand name yet.
Nick Filippone Posted October 8, 2022 Report Posted October 8, 2022 Deluxe, the company that makes “Perfect Plastic Putty,” also makes a product called “Looks Like Glass” for clear plastic. It works great, in my experience. Nick 1
Mark Deliduka Posted October 11, 2022 Report Posted October 11, 2022 Sweet! Where can that be purchased Nick?
Nick Filippone Posted October 11, 2022 Report Posted October 11, 2022 Like everything else in life, if you Google “Looks Like Glass,” many sources will appear including, of course, Amazon.
