jagdtiger46 Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 Just as the title suggests, is there a list somewhere of all national contests, starting with the first, with corresponding dates, or at least the year it was held? I recently stated (on another site), that I bought my first Alclad paints at the national in Dallas, but have no real idea when that was. I only know that it was several years ago. I do have a T-shirt bought in Dallas that has the dates and locations up to that time, but that seems to have gone missing. Thanks a bunch,

Incidentally, I did a search before asking my question, but nothing came up. I did not eplore all the catagories though, doing that right now. My first national was right here in 1991, I joined the Gateway chapter right after that.

However....driving there in Ron's car, without air conditioning, in July, with the windows down allowing all of the newly applied FERTILIZER in southern Indiana and Illinois to waft through the car was NOT fun! That was 3-4 hours of stink that still causes me to shudder.... GIL

Ron Bell Posted May 29, 2014 Report Posted May 29, 2014 We would love to go to the NE again, but the clubs up there tell us that the price of venues that can accommodate us have skyrocketed out of sight, making it fiscally impossible. Buffalo came close to bidding a few years back, but it just didn't work out for one reason or another.
