  1. Really nice detail sets.
  2. Thanks Gil.
  3. Is anyone aware of any resin detail sets for the old Monogram 1/48 F-104C?
  4. That is a fascinating Tamiya A6M. Never seen that box art before.
  5. A decent (hello Tamiya) 1/48 Douglas A-1E Skyraider
  6. 1/72 Rockwell B-1B Mya-4
  7. I think it might be. Bloody expensive.
  8. This is over on FB. This is an insane build. https://www.facebook.com/martial.chouvel?ref=br_rs
  9. Mother of all models. http://www.presstelegram.com/general-news/20160124/room-in-san-pedro-veterans-seek-home-for-uss-nevada-model
  10. B.2 is fine and welcome. As long as it's not a K.
  11. How about a nice 1/72 Handley-Page Victor B.Mk.1
  12. Hey Don...if that is the SPA car....Replicars has it in 1/18 scale.....Diecast and Already assembled(of course). Oval Track Legends(Gary Doucette) makes a Reasin kit of the 66 Indycar Eagle(curb side) in 1/25 scale. If a person wanted to make it into the F-1 car...they would have to put a V-12 in it. Which can be done. Gary is a great guy to work with and his casting is pretty good. I do have this kit but haven't got to it as of yet. He sells only on EBAY. Here's the Address to his ebay store. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-25-1966-indy-500-Gurney-Eagle-resin-metal-kit-/201369861810?hash=item2ee2943eb2:g:-5cAAOSwBahVaGKw Hope this helps you a little.... You'll need to do more than add the V-12. The Indy car had offset suspension for the banking.
  13. The Christmas model haul.
  14. Really nicely done. Got one sitting on my shelf to be built some day.
  15. Damn those sneaky kits with their ambush skills!
  16. Historically, Aoshima has never been great, but maybe they've improved. About to pull the trigger on their new Wasp. Any thoughts?
  17. Another piece of my modeling youth through the veil.
  18. Got it today in CA. One minor criticism, I'd love to seen the name of the kit manufacturer listed with the winning entries. In many cases, we'd like to get that kit, and two, if someone started with a truly poopy kit, we'd appreciate their efforts a lot more.
  19. Well that's what we were discussing, a P8
  20. Chances are Hasegawa will release one as soon as the JADF fly them. So true! But the Hasegawa one will most likely be released in 1/144 scale though! Still won't have one in 1/72. Well I don't know. Comparably speaking, it's not too much bigger than a P3, and smaller than a B-47.
  21. Chances are Hasegawa will release one as soon as the JADF fly them.
  22. Tell the judges it's a plastic replica of a die cast model.
  23. Ed, was the Revell kit one of the four box scale kits that had plastic stands that swivelled 360 degrees? I had all four of them mounted to the wall of my bed room. Hi, Clarence, Those clear plastic Revell swivel bases were in dozens of their early model kits. I've kept mine because I applied the large circular identification decal to each one. I have a box of those bases with no models left to display them with. In my showcase with the old models I show the base (minus support post) to ID the models (and document their age). Ed Hell, there's an interesting contest entry right there!
  24. Haven't checked today's mail yet.
  25. 8/10. Knowing what you started with, good on ya. But since you asked for a critique, the panel lines are too heavy. If you stood 50 feet from the real thing, you'd not see panel lines quite that heavy.
