This was my "Tamiya Break" after finishing the Eduard Emil. I chipped away at it for 2 months, as I don't seem to have the time, anymore. Regardless, the model depicts an aircraft of the U.S. Marine Corp's VMF-213 "Hell Hawks", circa 1943. It's OOB, save for the antennae (stretched sprue) and the tensioner (fine solder). It was airbrushed with Vallejo Model Air acrylics. Why are the wings folded on an island??? Because. I said so.

Wings folded as ordered, sir! I really like the wing braces, how'd you make them? Excellent build!

Why you sly dog you.......that Corsair still looks GREAT! :smiley2: By the way, did you paint the IFF lights, or use lenses? Cheers!

I love this kit. Its all there, full cockpit, folding wings and dropped flaps. Of course you've got to have the skills to turn it into the beauty that you have. Great job thanks for sharing it.

I've always liked the Corsair in the lighter scheme.
