Looking good! Are those gear actually already attached, or did you just pose the model on them? I know I'd be breaking them while handling during the decal process if it was me!

This is my secret weapon when I decal my models. A small adjustable vice I picked up at the local hardware store. It is a godsend for decalling.

Cool spy-plane. Does the Squadron White give you any cracking/shrinkage problems?

I have not had problems with the white. The Squadron green did give me shrinkage and cracking problem though. It was also harder to cover when painting, to dark a color.

Got the second coat on the enterprise, looks pretty much the same as above (so no pic) the U-2 got it's main color though...

Nice job, Warren. I have one of those with the Senior Span pod from cutting Edge. Yours looks great. It sure takes up alot of shelf space. I put the flow fences on the bottom of the stabilizers with plastic strip. Found out that they were on both sides of the stabilizers.

I have to try rescribing some day.

Just starting this kit. This is for a group build on another forum. Plan to just build it OOB and not add and misc details to it.

Simply painted the interior RLM 02. Will be dry enough to start gluing tomorrow night

I spent last night taking small flat pieces and making them in to smaller 3D pieces.

The small light grey bottle was the center piece of the cut up missile in front of the turn table.

Was out of town for the weekend, got back to did a little work on the DO-24

got the wings, most of the tail and part of the fuselage glued together. Now waiting on the future to dry on the windows as they have to be put in before I close up the fuselage. Also have to mask the turrets before then.

Very neat job! Looks like it was tedious too.....did you cut the tape ON the parts, or use another method?

most of it was cut smaller than needed and overlapped to cover. then was trimmed where needed. yes it was tedious, 3 hours on what you see.
