ncarpio Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 Using Hasegawa's F4E and adding a scratchbuilt refueling pod, this project was fun to make. The resources in the web showed that it was hard edge painted. So I had to spend hours replicating the pattern. Took this photo after the printing press took a break. The 649 decals at the intake was still fresh and hard to be coated with dull coat. It was applied after the final touch on the intakes. The final result was without silvering as the other 100's of decals on the F4.
