Great job JT. Love the hot rod Nova. It was fun watching them pull in unsuspecting guys on Woodward and blow them away.

Very Cool Looking Nova James. You've done the "SLEEPER" look to the "T".smiley20.gif I picked that kit up also. Was thinking of making it into a short Track Super Stocker.... I remember in the late 60's and 70's..a lot of folks really loved those Novas'. Chevelle's where right up there too....

There were a few COPOs in Dallas during the late '60s. Mostly located at Forrest Lane near Midway Road, which was the Woodward Avenue of Big "D" back then. Some rich kids got their Mustangs prepped by Holman and Moody. Today, you can see some original COPO Camaros and Novas race at the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Race held at Stanton Michigan each September. Most of them run very high 11s on bias ply tires.
