nostab Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 Just completed my Tamiya Aston Martin. Particulars: Exterior: Scalefinishes.com Morning Frost White (Pearl) Interior: Floquil Tuscan, thinned and airbrushed. The rest is built right out of the box. It sits right it looks right. I cannot wait to see what else Tamiya comes up with for more AM cars. There are a few more at MY FOTKI, ASTON MARTIN Since Minnesota is having technical difficulties with the sun, those outdoor pictures will have to wait. Thanks for looking. Chris
Wildcat Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 GREAT job!! I finished mine about 6 weeks ago in AM green. It really is a gorgeous kit.
MikeH Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 Dang that looks hot in white! Great build.

noelsmith Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 (edited) Hi Guys Tamiya have made a superb job of the Aston kit and Chris has made an excellent model from it, so all credit to him. Being an English modeller I must admit I was a bit diappointed that the kit was only supplied with left hand drive. It is a British car after all! Maybe one day I will win the British or Euro lottery and buy myself a 1 to 1 scale. AM....Dream on!!!! I think many car kit manufacturers miss a trick by not offering right hand and left hand drive options in their kits. Engine bays are so stuffed these days that you cannot see the steering column under the hood so it would be feasable. Is there an after market manufacturer out there reading this? ewahl Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 My first impression of the first photo was that I was seeing an AM ad photo and not a model. Your work is THAT good. Ed
MikeH Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 I had the fortune to see this one in person at Nordicon. It's beautiful!
