bradman Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 Hello, all. I'm Don Watters, from Shepparton, Victoria, Australia. I've been back in the hobby for 20+ years, after the usual early involvement in my pre-teen years. I'm very focused on 1/32 and 1/48 WW2 aircraft, with only a few non-aircraft kits in my 200+ stash. I've been very non-productive over the last 10 years, a situation I'm always vowing to change. I'm also an avid reader, a movie and history buff and struggling guitarist to name just a few of my other interests. I hope I can contribute something to this site in the future, as well as make use of its resources. Regards Don

Lets see, you have a 200+ kit collection, your model output is limited per year, you love research and history, you built models as a kid, took a break from it, and have returned with a new love and enjoyment for the hobby in your mid to later years. Yep you will fit in very nicely. Glad to have you aboard. I do hope that the few kits in you collection that are not aircraft are Armour . If you need anything, just ask. Dick Montgomery Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 Hey Don! I spent 35 wonderful days visiting up and down the east coast of Australia some years back. When I left Texas it was 100 degrees and 26 hours later, when I landed in Sydney, it was just about 40 degrees. Quite a pleasant change. Beautiful country, friendly people, and great weather! I even got a chance to do some snorkling on the Great Barrier Reef! Welcome aboard!
