I did the silver leading edges and the front intake opening with a metallic paint marker. Really worked great. Only one or two little slips to fix. (Square on to reduce distortion, and send that image to me along with the kit's stock #...usually on the box end. Thanks!

ewahl Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 I found my old Otaki 1/144 kit of the F-8C Crusader and compared it with your kit. Horrors, the Otaki kit looks like a lump of plastic by comparison, not to mention the oversized markings (few as they are) in the box. These new kits contain superb detail. You did a great job on this wee little kit. Ed
