Moose135 Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 That's some really nice looking work! Great job! Matt, Jerry was seriously injured in a crash in 2003 at Richmond during a practice session. Among other things, he suffered serious head injuries, and still has aftereffects from those injuries. He hasn't raced since then, and has said that he will likely never compete at the Cup level again. He has worked with a few teams, acting as a mentor to young drivers (David Gilliland included). He has done some kart racing and is trying to work out a deal to run a Grand Am car next year.
