  1. Would look even better in REAF markings! Mark
  2. Dave, Welcome and stick with it. It is a great hobby! Mark
  3. Jon, Here is a good one to look through. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10000210 Mark
  4. Hello Treadheads, I found a company that I had never heard of tooling for pictures of JSU-152s. They appear to be a company that combines kits and resin items and resells them as combi packs. The question I have has anyone bought any of there stuff and if so, who was the resin made by? My big questions are their Israeli made items. I am curious if it is AEF Designs resin or some other manufacturer. Mark
  5. A US supplier is stating that he will have the books soon. http://www.boomersbooks.net/ Mark
  6. Also, You can replicate them with stretched sprue. Much the same way as armor modelers make weld seams. Of course, you won't stipple them and it won't work on resin. Mark
  7. Just now available in England. Not sure who may be carrying them in the United States. http://www.barbarossabooks.eu/index.php?ma...c155dede2d988aa http://www.barbarossabooks.eu/index.php?ma...roducts_id=9089 Mark
  8. Paul, Welcome....finally a new member from the Great Northwest. Glad to see you here! Mark
  9. I hate to say it, but I still use Evil Bay first. Mark
  10. Jack, Have you seen it yet (other than pictures)? Mark
  11. From what I have read about the JSU series it appears to be a K model. I am going to convert mine to an M. The only scary part will be making the frame for the headlight/blackout light cage. I never have good luck with bending wire the same. Mark
  12. Fellow Treadheads, Does anyone have this kit yet? There are no reviews I have found on the web and was curious if this is their own mold or if they borrowed Zvevda's? Any help would be appreciated. Mark
  13. Welcome Will Maybe you can make the Nationals in Phoenix next year.
  14. Tim, I think your best bet would be a well stocked model railroad shop. Mark
  15. Whenever I purchase A new kit, I always print off his review and add it to the box so I don't have to go looking for it later. Mark
  16. Which do you prefer? The old ceramic/cast style, the new styrene type (MiniArt), the new resin cast ones that seem to be hitting the market, or building your own? I personally enjoy the old ceramic ones as long as they aren't too cracked. Mark
  17. Patrick, While I can't make heads or tails out of this latest issue, I do remember what Dragon was doing with his reviews. I feel for the guy. It would be like someone altering the reviews I do for IPMS or AMPS to suite their needs. When you have a site that reviews products, there is probably going to be toubles....especially if you review something the maker of the product does not like. Mark
  18. Ron, I don't know about airplanes. But I like moveable turrets, roadwheels, tracks and barrels. I have been known to occasionally play with my tanks (when no one is looking). Mark
  19. Randy, It's missing lynx topic modern post number 32. This link might work. http://www.network54.com/Forum/47209/messa...62+Loader+hatch

    Trees???

So am I one the only one who still uses dead tree roots (the Shep Paine way) to make trees? I purchased some of Verlinden's palm trees and they look great. Mark
  21. At least until someone or something yanks his chain the wrong way again. Mark
  22. Love the colors....way kool!!!
  23. I just assumed Patrick was going to cut and paste and forward them to him...I know....never assume. HAHA Mark
  24. Terry, I remember the issue with Dragon. I am not a member of FSM and am sorry you feel bullied. Please do not close down your site. Your reviews rock and I put great merit into purchasing kits after reading your reviews. Mark
  25. Well, we gripe as much as the aircraft modelers. To me the loaders hatch being off access is minor. However, there always has been and always will be those that go to the extreme to make an accurate kit. I knew a guy that cut a model length wise to make it the correct width. I think it looks like a great kit and when I finally get one, I am sure I will enjoy it. Mark
