  1. Penny, I see that this discussion was never closed out. For those following this, Penny's membership was cleared up on January 24 and all is well.
  2. Tony, I'm glad everything is working for you now. Join us in Omaha for the National Convention in July- it is a great time and Omaha really knows how to run a convention. Hope to see you there! Mike
  3. Eric, No need for that, I can see it in the deposit she made on November 30. Since Marie is still trying to catch up, I went ahead and updated your membership. If you changed anything like your phone or email, send me the changes to Treasurer@ipmsusa.org or update them yourself on the new site (don't post them here). You are now good through 12/15/2022, and can see that your renewal is posted on the new membership pages. You can also print a new membership card there if you like. Thanks for renewing, and sorry for the delay. Mike
  4. Eric, Again, I apologize for the delay processing your renewal. We will make sure you get the November/December Journal. I will follow up with our Office Manager again today. Mike
  5. James, Glad to hear it. Going live always brings out any idiosyncrasies in a new system! Overall we are seeing very good acceptance, and we will fix the issues that do come up ASAP. Mike
  6. Tony, Your membership was updated back in November and you are renewed through 11/20/2023. Eric, Marie handles the check payments and I know she is still behind. She is catching up as fast as she can. The good news for you and everyone else is that our new system is now live and you can log in to see exactly what your status is at any time. In the future, if you pay by PayPal or credit card, your membership will update as soon as you enter it. Snail mail and checks will still need extra time since that process is fairly manual. You should have gotten an email from Dave Lockhart explaining the new system and pointing you to the log in instructions. I have attached them below in case you need them. Let us know what you think. Happy New Year, Mike Treasurer, IPMS/USA Membership System First Time Visit Instructions.pdf
  7. Len, a big thank you to you and the San Marcos Convention team for all the hard work you put into this. We are all disappointed that there won’t be a 2020 Convention, but it was the right thing to do. We can all look forward to great conventions in Las Vegas, Omaha and San Marcos in 2021-2023. Mike
  8. Maker's Mark on the workbench- great modeling inspiration! Javelin is looking great. I like what you did with the gear wells. Mike
  9. Gil, you make it look so effortless! Koster kits are indeed nice vacs, but they are still vacs. Beautiful work. Mike
  10. Ditto on the 1/48 OH-6A, H-37 and CH-54 (that would be a big one!). In addition, how about: H-19 new tool HUP1/2 (H-25) new tool HO3S new tool AH-56 Cheyenne
  11. Gil, that is a beautiful RB-66! Makes me want to pull one of my many Collect-Aire kits off the shelf and give it a try. I will probably start smaller though! Very nice work. Mike
  12. Gil, I saw your C-119 at the convention and wondered who had gone to all that trouble on a Combat Models kit. Great work, and thanks for posting it here too.
  13. Beautiful model Gary. Thanks for posting the in progress photos. Some great inspiration! Mike
  14. Herb, very nice models. I'm a big Reporter fan so I'll have to get that Lone Star conversion. You did a really good job on it. Thanks for posting these! Mike
  15. Mark, I've recently been visiting the forums more regularly, and I always look for your posts. I can't believe your model output! Not only high volume but high quality too! You are an inspiration. I've completed one model so far this year and have several nearing the finish line. I am in awe of your production line! Mike
  16. Takes me back to my misspent youth! Riding around in cars like this with my buddies on warm summer evenings was the best. Great looking model!
  17. Beautiful job. Thanks for sharing it with us.
  18. Gary, I just came across your excellent build. I'm an aircraft guy myself, but many of your techniques will work great for any scratch building needs. Thanks for your photos and great explanations of your work! I can't wait to see the rest. Mike
  19. Catdude, that is one gorgeous tank! Those wooden wheels look amazing.
  20. Gil, Beautiful Hawk. That aluminum finish looks great. Mike
  21. Just realized you want the AEW, not ASW. Those are not seen as often. :-(
  22. Joe, There are almost always one or two Classic Airframes Gannets on eBay. One is listed at the moment for $99.99 plus $9.45 shipping. I guess it depends on how much you want it! :-) Mike
