Absolutely lovely Emil! I particularly like your weathering. What did you use for your panel lines and how did you apply the exhaust staining? Looks like it was used in a harsh desert environment! Thanks for sharing!

thanks dudes!

 

for my panel lines, after i apply future while its was still gloss i use black acrylic just brush the whole plane and wipe it off. then after i have my flat coat on i went back with oil washes of brown shades. really thinned down and applied over and over until i like what i saw.

 

exhaust stain is airbrushed then some pastel to finish it off.

 

all other weathering is oils sealed under the flat coat.

Love the weathering!

 

You might consider re-scribing the panel line along the top of the fuselage. The 109s were actually assembled like a big model kit, from the cockpit aft. A left and right fuselage half, and a tail plug.

:smiley20: I love that color scheme. I was at HobbyTown USA in Murfreesboro yesterday and bought real cheap an Academy 109E3/4 in 1/72d scale. think I'll paint it up in those colors. It's a real simple kit I'm building OOB with no frills.
