Mark Deliduka Posted October 31, 2024 Report Posted October 31, 2024 I'm not sure where else to put this, so I'm posting it here even though it is not a diorama. This is an ancient Atlas HO/OO scale Lumber Mill that I built in tribute to my grandfather who owned one during WWII which kept him out of the service: Thank you all for looking in, comments are welcome.
VonL Posted November 5, 2024 Report Posted November 5, 2024 Memories of New England when I wuz a kid. Very cool - love it - !!!
Mark Deliduka Posted November 6, 2024 Author Report Posted November 6, 2024 LOL! Thanks Bob! Funny that, my Grandfather's mill was in New Jersey, very close to there.
Ron Bell Posted January 13, 2025 Report Posted January 13, 2025 If that Hillside mill was actually in Hillside N.J. it was just down Rt 22 from where I grew up. I enjoy doing kits like that every once and a while for something different. You also get to practice skills and try out new ones.
Mark Deliduka Posted January 13, 2025 Author Report Posted January 13, 2025 Thank you Ron! I'm not sure if it was based on a real mill, but I did enjoy trying out new skills and experimenting with others.
PaulBradley Posted January 18, 2025 Report Posted January 18, 2025 That different and nicely done, Mark!
Mark Deliduka Posted January 19, 2025 Author Report Posted January 19, 2025 Thank you Paul! I am happy with it.
