Here is my latest aircraft completed this month. This is the ancient Matchbox kit of the Swedish SAAB J-29 in 1/72 scale. I used the kit's original decals to complete it.

Sprayed with a rattle can of metallic aluminum:

Great job on that kit!!! I'm probably gonna ++++ some folks of though by saying......THAT is one ugly jet. Looks sorts pregnant! :biggrin:

Keith I agree, it is rather ugly; I almost didn't build it because of that. But I wanted a simple and fast kit to build that that fit the bill. Thank you for the compliment!

Yes it did! It's always a great feeling finishing something up so I can dispose of the box to make more room. Seeing these on my shelf also gives me great satisfaction.

Thank you Ed! I agree, it has certainly grown on me. My apologies for not responding sooner; I was on vacation for awhile unable to access the Forums.

Yeah. Kind of like a Bulldog too. It's got that beefy, aggressive look to it.

 

Stay tuned, two more aircraft got finished, I hope to get them posted this weekend.
