Mark Deliduka Posted July 19, 2024 Report Posted July 19, 2024 Here is my latest aircraft completed this month. This is the ancient Matchbox kit of the Swedish SAAB J-29 in 1/72 scale. I used the kit's original decals to complete it. Sprayed with a rattle can of metallic aluminum: Thank you all for looking in, comments are welcome! 5
VMF211 Posted July 21, 2024 Report Posted July 21, 2024 Great job on that kit!!! I'm probably gonna ++++ some folks of though by saying......THAT is one ugly jet. Looks sorts pregnant! 1
Mark Deliduka Posted July 21, 2024 Author Report Posted July 21, 2024 Keith I agree, it is rather ugly; I almost didn't build it because of that. But I wanted a simple and fast kit to build that that fit the bill. Thank you for the compliment! 1
ghodges Posted July 25, 2024 Report Posted July 25, 2024 Looks good to me, and it cleared another from the stash! Congrats! Gil
Mark Deliduka Posted August 3, 2024 Author Report Posted August 3, 2024 Yes it did! It's always a great feeling finishing something up so I can dispose of the box to make more room. Seeing these on my shelf also gives me great satisfaction. Thank you Gil, and thanks for stopping in to see this!
TheRealMrEd Posted September 11, 2024 Report Posted September 11, 2024 She's so ugly, she's cute. An interesting aircraft! Ed
Mark Deliduka Posted September 25, 2024 Author Report Posted September 25, 2024 Thank you Ed! I agree, it has certainly grown on me. My apologies for not responding sooner; I was on vacation for awhile unable to access the Forums.
TheRealMrEd Posted September 30, 2024 Report Posted September 30, 2024 It's a little cutie, sort of like a little warthog (not the A-10). Ed
Mark Deliduka Posted October 3, 2024 Author Report Posted October 3, 2024 Yeah. Kind of like a Bulldog too. It's got that beefy, aggressive look to it. Stay tuned, two more aircraft got finished, I hope to get them posted this weekend. 1
