This is the old Testors/Hawk Ryan PT-20 kit. I added a very basic interior, vacuformed the windscreens (mainly because 1 was missing in the kit), and drilled out the exhuasts so they could be added with tubing. The rudder stripes were painted and all markings came from the spares box as the kit decals were toast. Ceramic Wonder Wire was used for the rigging.

This was an easy 9-10 day build, and my 16th completion for the year. Retirement rocks!

Beautiful work! Ive only built that kid while helping one of my kids make it. I'd love to try such a project as you've done here.

 

And yes, retirement is good stuff 😉

Wow! Another masterpiece I'll never be able to replicate! That natural metal finish is out of this world!
