Ron Bell Posted June 25, 2023 Report Posted June 25, 2023 (edited) This was started as something to do while paint/glue dried on a much larger project, but it started to get fun and didn't turn out too badly for a 1963 kit. That's 50 years! The kit is a bit of a hash of the various marks of the aircraft, but, hey, what do I know from DXXI's. The only thing I did to this was to add a spinner as I thought the versions with a spinner looked cooler. I did have to replace the decals, however, as after 50 years they were pretty far gone. Note the price tag. Edited June 25, 2023 by Ron Bell 2
ghodges Posted June 26, 2023 Report Posted June 26, 2023 Excellent camo work and sharp canopy frames; what more could you ask for? And to heap a bit more kudos.... that's SIXTY years ago my friend! Where did the time go.... Gil 1
Dakimbrell Posted June 28, 2023 Report Posted June 28, 2023 Interesting, we just sold another of this kit which had been held by Don Douglas who had died last December. In fact, I recall he had at least two in his collection from way back. Lots of kits to brave souls picked up all his old kits. Good work. Dak
