Mark Deliduka Posted October 17, 2017 Report Posted October 17, 2017 On another Forums a Star Wars Group Build was started. One good friend sent me an Imperial Star Destroyer from Revell to build for it.After several months of working on this along with several other models, I have finished my Star Destroyer. I painted it a Testor's Model Master Camouflage Grey overall and then gave it a Promodeler wash to bring out the details. Afterward I dry-brushed the whole model again with the Testor's Model Master Camouflage Grey to enhance the contrast again. I'm quite pleased with the results:The pics don't really pic up the detail too well. This does look better in person. It feels great to get this finished. Thanks for looking in, comments are welcome. 2
RGronovius Posted October 18, 2017 Report Posted October 18, 2017 The latest Revell kit? Looks pretty convincing to me.
philp Posted October 22, 2017 Report Posted October 22, 2017 Looks good Mark. I picked up one of the large Zvezda kits at the Nats this year. Who knows, maybe I will try to light it.
Mark Deliduka Posted October 26, 2017 Author Report Posted October 26, 2017 Thanks Rob! It is amazingly detailed and apparently very true to the movie ship. Thanks Phil! I'll be looking forward to seeing the Zvezda kit done. I'd love to have a comparison build to look at.
Roktman Posted November 5, 2017 Report Posted November 5, 2017 Looks great! The Emperor would definite approve ;)
