Marcel Posted December 11, 2016 Report Posted December 11, 2016 As a king of the shelve queens from the heart of Europe I decided to join your forums to find some answers to many questions I have about some U.S. warbirds.
ClareWentzel Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 Welcome Marcel. I suspect that you will find people with more shelf queens than you have. What do you build?
Ron Bell Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 Pane Drgone, Vitam vas! Ne'znam dobra slovenska, ale studoval jsem cesky gdse byl v sluzbe. Doufam ze mate IPMS rad. Moje ceske je taky hovno, ne? Prosim, odpustite mne.
ghodges Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 Not having that USAF training that Ron had...I'll merely say welcome! Glad you're here Marcel. We'll try to help any way we can. GIL :smiley16:
Marcel Posted December 12, 2016 Author Report Posted December 12, 2016 Hello guys, Thanx for your hospitality. Ron, your Czech is pretty good, especially the harsh tongue is easy to understand :-) . I am building almost everything and the focus shifts with the mood. Right now I am trying to move forward a bit with the Prowler from Monogram, which was actually the reason I joined. As regards IPMS, I had a good friend here, who unfortunately passed away 2 years ago and I think he even visited your U.S. conventions - Jozef Maly. If one should judge the IMPS Members according to him, its only the finest people.
Mark Deliduka Posted December 12, 2016 Report Posted December 12, 2016 Welcome Marcel! I think you'll find all that you're looking for and more. Feel free to post pictures of your work here; sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. I'm glad to see you here. While I didn't ever meet Josef, I have seen pictures of his work; he was one excellent modeler. My condolences on your loss.
