Tackeret Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Just wanted to say hi on here. Been modeling for a few years, mostly 1/48th aircraft and started going to the local IPMS chapter meeting a couple years ago. Finally got around to joining IPMS/USA and the forums. I belong to the IPMS Antelope Valley Group.

Dick Montgomery Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 Ah....another 1/48th modeler. Welcome aboard! How about some images of your work?
Mark Deliduka Posted January 5, 2016 Report Posted January 5, 2016 Welcome Tracy from another Southern California modeler. I'm in IPMS Orange County. Hopefully I'll see you at the next Orangecon and AVG Desert Classic! I had to miss the last Desert Classic due to not having a ride. Hopefully that changes this year. See you around the Forums.

Tackeret Posted January 13, 2016 Author Report Posted January 13, 2016 Tamiya 1/48 P-47D in the markings of the 365th FG 387th FS Hell Hawks. I used Barracuda decals for this one.
Dick Montgomery Posted January 14, 2016 Report Posted January 14, 2016 Nice separation lines on the camo....was that free hand or with a form of "mask"?
Tackeret Posted January 14, 2016 Author Report Posted January 14, 2016 (edited) Thanks. I have done it both ways but the Phantom was free hand. Most times I use silly putty or blu tac but I wanted to see if I could do it free hand so I did the Phantom freehand. Edited January 14, 2016 by Tackeret
Mark Deliduka Posted January 14, 2016 Report Posted January 14, 2016 Beautiful work Tracy! Well done! 1
