  1. I love the look of the missing center caps on the rear Crager mags. I had that same look on a 69 chevy I had back in my youth. But it was because I didn't have a lot of money and I bought the mags from a pawn shop and they didn't have the caps. Very nice save of an old but still good model.
  2. Mark, the dark tiger stripped girl won't even try to get on the bench but the orange tabby will do anything he can to annoy me. After I yell at him a few times he will find someplace to curl up but it takes him a bit.
  3. This is the one that gets into everything, in this case he climbed into the trashcan at my bench. This is the good girl who just wants to cuddle and purr.
  4. I have two cats that like to come into the model room. One will just come in and curl up at my feet or on the chair next to me and be perfectly content. The other will cry at the door and scratch at it like Marks cat but when I let him in he wants to get into everything until I get mad at him and kick him out. Then we start the whole process all over again, scratch, let him in, get into everything, kick him out. Repeat again and again.
  5. Thanks. I have done it both ways but the Phantom was free hand. Most times I use silly putty or blu tac but I wanted to see if I could do it free hand so I did the Phantom freehand.
  6. Tamiya 1/48 P-47D in the markings of the 365th FG 387th FS Hell Hawks. I used Barracuda decals for this one.
  7. Hobby Boss 1/48 F8F-2 Bearcat done in the markings for VF-61 the Jolly Rogers
  8. Revell F-18E done in the markings of the CAG for VX-9 at China Lake. I used Fightertown decals for this one. Also 1/48th
  9. Ok now that I know I can post pictures here I will post some others of my recent work since those are a lot better. Airfix 1/48th Spitfire PR XIX
  10. This aircraft sat in the hangar here at Dryden/Armstrong for many years after i started working there in 1985. Cool aircraft although it is a bit small and low to the ground. It now resides in the Hiller Aviation Museum in the Bay Area. Nice little museum to visit if you ever get the chance.
  11. Just wanted to say hi on here. Been modeling for a few years, mostly 1/48th aircraft and started going to the local IPMS chapter meeting a couple years ago. Finally got around to joining IPMS/USA and the forums. I belong to the IPMS Antelope Valley Group.
