First time as an IPMS Member. For many years I was involved in R/C modeling. I messed around a little with plastic models growing up but was never real serious about it. I joined the USAF right after High School in 1989 as a B-52H Crew Chief at Minot AFB, ND. In 1993 I was selected to be a part of the B-2A Program at Whiteman AFB, MO. I was medically discharged (Honorable Discharge) in 1998 at Keesler AFB, MS. I decided the Gulf Coast was the warmest place I'd been and made it my home (originally from New Haven, IN). In 2005 I started to get more serious and bought my first Air Brush but Hurricane Katrina forced me to move. I now live in Mobile, AL. I stayed with R/C modeling until last year when I bought my motorcycle. This year I sold my truck and decided to return to plastic modeling as my creative outlet. I'm hoping to hone my skills and produce some higher quality display models.

Welcome TJ, glad to have you in IPMS and here with we Forum Foul Ups! :P

One thing about plastic versus the r/c stuff, you should never break one in flight unless you've launched it at a wall in frustration! :D

Let us know how we can help ya have fun here!

Welcome T.J. You've come to the right place. IPMS is a great place and it's a wonder how I ever got along without it since I started building models back in 1955. Best,

Why not Minot! I know why you settled someplace warm. KC-135A pilot, Wurtsmith, Michigan and Fairchild, Washington. Settled in SoCal so I don't have to shovel atmosphere. Welcome aboard, chief!
