A lot of the kits I build are "classics", so by today's standards they'd be sow's ears. Since I build them all the time, I won't use any of them. But here's one that would qualify under any circumstances. It's the Geoffrey Sawyer vacuform kit of the Armstrong Whitworth Whitley. When I did it, the old Frog kit was going for insane amounts and a modeling buddy of mine told me if I'd build this, I could have it. It made Execuform kits look like Hasagawa.

You nailed it! I'd have never guessed that was such a bad kit. You sure got some mad vac-form-building skills!

It has to be depressing when an ugly kit turns into an ugly model of an ugly airplane......but then again, it IS a Brit design! :smiley2: I agree, that's some mad skills displayed there Ron. Vacs are usually not easy, bad ones are tough, and you whipped that Whitworth! Congrats!
