My latest build. Next time I am going to try Alclad 2. Never used it before but want to try it. This aircraft has Greek Air Force markings from 1961. Model had molded in copyright that said "Airfix 1974".

Very nice job. In my minds eye, I can see all the seams on those fuel tanks/etc. and fuselage in that shot of the bottom, but in my real eye, I can't see a one. Great job.

What's with all of the "Airfix magic" here lately? :smiley32:

As much as I enjoy seeing nicely built models, it doubles my fun to see older models brought up to snuff! All models have seams and fit issues, but older Airfix kits are noted for being a bit more stubborn! It's a real treat to see how well you Thunderstreak came out!

As for going to Alclad....as long as you use a good gloss primer, it's easy to use and gives great results!

Wait till you see my current project. Airfix 1/72 de Havilland Chipmunk. The one that comes in a blister pack. I have to remake the decals. Going for the yellow Canadian version. BTW I saw I had a duplicate picture. I replaced the first picture. Enjoy.

Nice job! Were those the kit decals? You made them look super.

This is great! I built that one some years back as well. Thanks for the memories!
