  1. SON OF A...........CORRECT!!! WOW, MIKE KNOWS HIS "STUFF", AMAZING!! IMAGE REVEALS SOME OF JULIE CHRISTIES FACE, AND THE "ROBOT" HAND HOLDING THE HYPODERMIC, BEFORE THE BIZARRE "CONCEPTION" SCENE, VERY VIVID, AND DISTURBING FILM, OF AN ULTRA-ULTRA-SUPER-COMPUTER, PROTEUS IV, VOICE BY ROBERT VAUGHN, WHO REACHES BEYOND THE INPUT PROGRAMMING, AND WISHES TO BE "ALIVE"! THE ACTOR IN BOTH THIS FILM AND AND "PHANTOM", WAS GERRITT GRAHAM, A VERY TALENTED CHARACTER ACTOR, WHO PLAYS "BEEF", THE FREAKED OUT LEAD SINGER, TERRORIZED BY THE PHANTOMS WARNING......"MY MUSIC IS ONLY FOR PHOENIX, ANY ELSE WHO TRIES....DIES"........ AND THE ASSISTANT RESEARCHER, IN "DEMON SEED". Well done Mike, you may win the kit sooner than I anticipated!! Another image coming soon!!
  2. NICE!!! The metallic finish is flawless, and so much detailing!! Super-cool ED!!!
  3. Players, giving up already?? OK, here's a very good clue, if your a good film detective, this one could give it away......... One of the actors in this film, was also in "Phantom of the Paradise", one of our prior films. No more clues until I get some guesses................
  4. Indeed Mike, you snooze, you lose........... Thanks for the latest stats,..............smurf hater.......
  5. Oh, agreed, "Alien" was really a frightener, but that's a strike! This is as scary, but in another way............... "WHERE'S THE BRAIN!"
  6. SWEEEETTTTT! GRACIAS DUDE!!
  7. A NEW IMAGE, OH VALLIANT VIDEO COMBATANTS, THE ONLY CLUE AT THIS TIME............... "SCARY AS HELL".................. !! GOOD LUCK PLAYERS!!
  8. DANG IT!! YOU WENT BACK AND LOOKED AT MY ALL TIME FAV'S, YOU JUST KNEW I'D TRY THAT ONE!!! WELL DONE DAVE, INDEED, "A BOY AND HIS DOG" IS CORRECT! DON JOHNSON'S ONE-TIME SF FILM VENTURE!! WRITTEN BY HARLAN ELLISON, MY FAVORITE AUTHOR, AND, A WILD TALE OF POST-NUCLEAR SURVIVAL, ABOVE, AND BELOW GROUND. A "CULT" SF CLASSIC IF THERE WAS EVER ONE!! WELL DONE!!! Starring Don, as "Vic", and the talented Jason Robards, and other semi-well known actors, including the "telepathic" mutt, "Blood", who pretty much "steals" the show!! Higly entertaining, but not for the "kiddies", as there is some strong sexual content. The film begins with an assortment of Mushroom cloud clips, that was the "hidden" clue in the last given verbal clue. Image showed a quadrant of stills from the film, some of the Dog can be seen, as well as other details. If your familliar with the film, these would have jumped out at you. On to the next round players!
  9. "All quiet on the SF front"............too quiet, so another clue. This is yet another film, set in a "post-nuclear" wasteland, a popular theme in the 70's........... !
  10. As your first clue on this film, the image is actually a "quadrant", that's 4 images, as in a "Movie Promo" poster, so if your trying to figure the image, as a whole, it will utterly confuse you. 4 images, all spaced in 4 corners evenly, OK? The film is somewhat "obscure", but not for the "die-hard" SF Fans, that watch a lot of the genre, I'll leave you with those today...........
  11. Nice work Stats-keeper Mike, cool Smurf, looks a little "wasted" to me though! "Smurfenpoints"???? Well, ok.............. !
  12. Very nice detailing, and I do like your "Tiling" and "Plating" paintwork!! "Perfect" isn't the issue, it's "As good as you can do within your level of expertise", and it looks quite well executed to me Eric! BTW: Great reference, and painting swatch graphics on the wall, that's doing your "homework", good job Dude!
  13. I've been busy, stocked up on several "ready to go", film images, to keep the pace fast and steady! And maybe, a little furious! A new round........Oh my Valliant Video Combatants! As usual, the image first, no clues yet..............hehehehe............ LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!
  14. Holy .....Right!! Brian De Palma's take off on "Phantom of the Opera", with music by Paul Williams!! Well done!! Excellent "Cult" status film from the 70's, and a soundtrack that stills moves me today, good one Mike!! Picture clues included the "Studio" where the "Phantom" is held captive by soul seller, "Swan" played by Paul Williams. Instruments of the time are prominent in the image, as well as some of the "Phantom's" Costume. Verbal clues are self-explanatory now............another image coming soon! Damm Mike, I am impressed, few know of the film, and it was one of De Palma's first films on a professional level, if not the first!
  15. In my younger "Smurfling" days, perhaps, but it would be very difficult to do precision work, in an "altered" mental state Mike!!! Funny image however!! Mental note: Dispatch troops immediately!!!
  16. KA-BOOM! HOHOHO................ NOTE TO SELF: DEFINITE SMURF HATER, SCHEDULE "ELITE NINJA TACTICAL SMURF ASSAULT TEAM" FOR A MISSION UP NORTH......SOON........
  17. Excellent.........the man recognized a clue when it was sneaked in! Yep, with a little logic, knowing my age, you get a pretty good time-frame, well done Dude! "Teacher's Pet", or not, Mike's a darn good player!!
  18. AAwright..........jeez.........a clue.......... The film produced an excellent album, with music from many talented artists, (happen to have been the very first LP I purchased as a youngling........ ...second one was, Alice Cooper's "Welcome to my Nightmare".)
  19. I just gave several clues, how about a few guesses first?
  20. Some early progress on the Voyager's randomized Thrusters effect. A lot of drilling and carving involved to accurize the solid parts. A film clip is posted on the Kit Factory website, of the LED glowing through apertures on Primary Saucer. These apertures will have clear inserts added, and surround the Ship, for an added lighting effect. All is still very rough, refinements begin later in the build.
  21. That's the fighting spirit Mike! Mental note: The stats-keeper has treachery in play.................watch him! Potential Cylon Agent, with Smurf-hating tendencies......interesting...............
  22. Just 'cause I said "Shall we play a game?" didn't mean it was a clue Dave, gotcha! Steeeerike!! Muhahahahahaha.................... "War Games" isn't a "Fantasy", it's SF with reality overtones........... :P
  23. Lovely stuff indeed Ed, but sadly, a Strike!!! As you got that in just "under the wire" on Sunday,.....a clue! This film has SF elements, but is a Fantasy, with Horror overtones, after all, this is the SF and FANTASY section! Now, "Shall we play a game?"
