Thank you everyone for the generally supportive and complimentary comments above. As I said in my website and Facebook, posts, we really tried to do everything within our power and that of each hotel property, to make this as fair and equitable a process as humanly possible. I'm glad many of you recognize this. We greatly appreciate it! Regarding a few posts above, I can assure you, no person other than myself and my hotel lead had the reservation links. The links were only made available to us in the last 4 days. No one else had any knowledge of or the ability to "give them out." Regarding "Handicapped" rooms. We do not "contract" for a certain type of room (i.e. ADA), each hotel by law has to offer ADA compliant rooms for guests to request. Each property has a limited number of ADA compliant rooms to offer. Each of our 7 properties provided us a full accounting of their ADA rooms and we posted that to the website quite a while back and updated it again on January 20th. It is an individual responsibility to request an ADA room when making the reservation. The information we provide regarding ADA rooms was asked for by the membership and we were happy to oblige. I am confident that most if not all who needed an ADA room found one at one of the hotels. Thank you again for the kudo's!

Yes, dates for the 2025 Nationals are 6-9 August 2025 in Hampton Virginia. Hope to see you all there!

Important information regarding the IPMS Awards Banquet. Anyone who has registered for the national convention or who still plans to, who have NOT bought a banquet ticket, please note the last day to purchase a banquet ticket will be Sunday 27 July 2014. No ticket sales will be offered after this date and there will be no tickets sold at the door or at the convention registration desk once the doors open on 6 August. We have contracted for special catering requirements to allow for more than two meal options which require us to lock these numbers down well in advance in order to allow the caterer to plan for and prepare the meals. Please don’t delay, purchase your banquets tickets before it’s too late.

The National Convention in Hampton VA is less than 45 days away. If you’re planning to go but haven’t made hotel arrangements please note that all unsold hotel rooms for the convention will be returned on 5 July. That means the negotiated hotel convention rate for each hotel will also expire after that date. In addition, the cut off for ticket sales the welcome social and BBQ dinner is 15 July.

Rick, that is our hope as well, but so far, I have to say ticket sales for the Wounded Warrior event and tour ticket sales in general have not been that great. I know it is still early, but there will be a time in the near future where we will have to make a "go/no-go" decision about the Wounded Warrior event in particular.
