  4. Tamiya 1/48th F-51D Korean markings. Alclad finish with dullcote to dull it to a oxidized finish. Kit decals. More here: http://www.percongrp...aft/f51d_ms.htm
  5. Nice job. I did one a few years back and it was a nice build.
  6. The wheels are completed in the kit. If I had to build them it would still be sitting on the shelf!!
  7. Auto Union Type C. Revival 1/18th scale kit. One butt ugly race car!! More here: http://www.percongrp...utounion_ms.htm
  8. Very nice work on a plane you don't see too often
  9. Damn Good Airplane Ancient Hawk kit from the 50's. Winner of the 1935 Bendix Trophy race. Built this one as a boy and always liked the lines. This time I replaced the engine which is just a flat faced radial in the kit. Also added an interior --- the kit just gives you a slab of plastic for the little blob of a pilot to sit on. Did a lot of work to get the canopy as clear as possible but you still can't see much. One of the designers, Gordon Israel, went to work for a little company in Bethpage, Long Island just before WWII. You sure can see the lines of the Wildcat, Hellcat, Bearcat and Tigercat in this little guy. More here: http://www.percongrp...aft/dga6_ms.htm
  10. Ancient old Hawk kit rereleased by Testors. I know it needs some things like a refuel probe but I don't build many jets so my spares box is kid of sparse. More here: http://www.percongrp.com/pelikan/aircraft/f5a_ms.htm
  11. Would like to see your pics but it won't let me download them.......
  12. Hurricane Mk. I from the 1/48th scale Pegasus Hobbies "snap" kit. Polish 303 Squadron from the Battle of Britain. Amazing kit for just $8.50! Snaps together with no seams. The only filler I used was under the nose because I clipped the sprue too close. The only mods from the basic kit are 1. Opened up landing lights and covered with 3M clear packing tape. 2. Added headrest and tape seatbelts. 3. Added scratch pitot tube. The kit decals are excellent with the only issue being the red is too bright. More here: http://www.percongrp...rri1_peg_ms.htm
  13. Alclad is great. Believe it or not I did this one straight to the plastic, no primer.
  14. Excellent 1/48th scale Revell kit. Kit decals. Alclad NMF. More here: http://www.percongrp...ft/f84g2_ms.htm
  15. Did not see the "Full Editor" option aerlier. Fixed now. Actually I am not surprised that you knew about that Mr. Hodges, as I am sure you have had to make a few corrections in the past ;)
  16. Not sure how that got in there and I can't edit it now.
  17. Ancient Revell box scale kit from the 50's rereleased in the 90's More here: http://www.percongrp...raft/r3y_ms.htm

  19. Great job on that Dauntless.
  20. Great job, Gil!! I have an original copy of God Is My Copilot signed in 1945 AND 1999 by Col. Scott. As a boy I read it many times.. Michael

    Just for fun

My good friend's wife loves these egg planes so I threw this together for her. More here: http://www.percongrp.com/pelikan/aircraft/p38egg_ms.htm
  22. Floquil reefer white topped with future
  23. Cessna T-50 Bobcat "Skyking" 1/48 scale Czech Models kit. If you ever build this kit mask the cowls / nose. The decals just will not lay down. I used MicroSol, Solvaset and Future with out too much success. Also the landing gear are very weak. I drilled and pinned both of mine. Even if you do not break them they will probably sag in time if you don't do something. As far as I know no one has metal replacements. More here: http://www.percongrp...t/bobcat_ms.htm
