gregozmods Posted December 14, 2012 Report Posted December 14, 2012 Hi to you all from OzMods down in Australia. As strange as it sounds, I've got more friends in the US than here at home! Went to the recent Orlando IPMS nats and had a ball! Also did the Columbus, Ohio IPMS nats a couple of years ago. For the past decade have dealt with hundreds of modellers all over the US, and making it a "bucket list" to get to personally meet as many of you as possible. With a daughter now based in Vancouver BC, guess there'll be even more trips over there in the near future. Regards, Greg Anderson.
Dick Montgomery Posted December 14, 2012 Report Posted December 14, 2012 I'll have to check a map to find Toowoomba. Some years back I spent 30+ days traveling along the east coast of Australia. Beautiful country, friendly people, but it was very strange to look at the stars at night and see a whole sky full of stars I'd not seen before. And any reason to travel to B.C. is a good reason......hope you get a chance to go to Loveland in August for the next convention.

Let me know if you're coming this way again. I will NOT take you to the Outback Steak House, an Aussie-themed restaurant. Nothing within is anywhere near "Aussie". Good steaks, though. Oh, and I did, indeed, find Toowoomba on the map. Didn't get too close...I was mostly staying along the coast on my visit.

I was hoping to see you in Loveland next year too, but we'll miss each other since the 2014 Nats is too far for me to attend. Maybe another year.
