darthfoster Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 When viewing forums that have photos, I am able to view some photos but not others. The photos that do not show up are represented by a white box with a red "x" in the middle of the box. If I "right-click" the mouse and then click on the "show image" I get nothing. Weird. This is from my work computer. My home computer displays the images just fine. Any ideas? Thanks, Anthony
Mark Aldrich Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Anthony, If your work computer is like mine, certain sites have been pinged, by coporate, as malicious. We can no longer view youtube and several times I have to wait until I get home to look at certain pictures. Mark

Eric I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but this is one of the sites, where I can't view the pictures. So I can see some, but not others. It's not a big deal as I can see them when I'm at home. Mark Aldrich Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Eric, Most of mine occur over on ML. I have never had a problem viewing pictures on our forum. However, Mark "Duke" Deliduka's jpg image on his signature can't be seen on my work computer but at home....no problem. Mark
Moose135 Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 Anthony, looking at the threads you posted, the photos you are unable to see are hosted on Photobucket. I suspect your corporate IT policy blocks access to PB, perhaps classifying it as a "social" site. I run the LISMS web site, and when I display photos linked from my SmugMug site, our club president complains he can't see them from his work computer, but sees them at home.
