Dick Montgomery Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 A tried and true Classic, this is the Revell 1/72nd kit. It builds up into a nice model, is simple and relatively trouble-free. Although I started this project in April, 2009 the actual contact time from start to finish was probably around 10 to 12 hours. There's nothing like finishing a project to increase one's enthusiasm for the next model!
Wulf Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 Very nice Dick. You do some nice, clean work. Will I see it in the flesh on Saturday? Andy
thehannaman Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 Very cool. It's nice to see the '15 done with the white coating.
ghodges Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 (edited) Nicely done and displayed. Congrats! GIL Edited January 31, 2010 by ghodges
Texas Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Nice Looking Model....You did a fine job on it and I like it on the stand. Texas
Dick Montgomery Posted January 26, 2010 Author Report Posted January 26, 2010 Thanks for the compliments gents. Andy...you'll see it in the "metal" (flesh?) on Saturday. Ken Loup and I agreed to a challenge build and he'll have his X-15 there as well....same kit but I understand he is doing the flat black bird. I don't hold out much hope when I compete with Kenny but its fun and a source of motivation to go up aganist someone who is an excellent builder. Gumbo....yum!
TimHortman Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 Nice work Dick - thanks for posting
Hanson Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 Very nice. I don't think I've ever seen it in white. Great job.
