VMF211 Posted January 15, 2024 Report Posted January 15, 2024 For a 1975 kit, this one is pretty nice. Yes, I know the ICM is newer, faster, stronger and more accurate but this still looks like a Ki-21 to me. I just wish I could paint a little better.........maybe see a little better also! I used Warbird Decals for the Hinomaru's and just painted the fuselage stripe and squadron markings. 1
ghodges Posted January 15, 2024 Report Posted January 15, 2024 Wow! That is one stellar camo job, and even more impressive in 1/72! Congrats, and thanks for sharing! Gil
Stikpusher Posted January 15, 2024 Report Posted January 15, 2024 I'm with Gil... that is some superb work on the camo! Bravo!🫡 Hard to believe that this is a mid 70's vintage Revell Japan kit with that surface detail. Way ahead of the then current detail trends...
VMF211 Posted January 16, 2024 Author Report Posted January 16, 2024 Thanks guys. I'm working on the Hasegawa Ki-49 now. Hopefully I can do the camo a little better......that's if I EVER finish masking the clear parts! 1
