Very late to the thread - apologies I don't often hit the General Modeling folder. I'm a member of the BPMS, and one of the newer members came to the Board with the idea. They told him go for it, to see if he could get it going. But at the next in-person meeting, the member came back with all the details completed. With a lot of younger members it started out as a Gundam build meet up. But of course any kit was welcome, and you had a wide range of ages, from gray haired veterans, to brand new beginners with their snap tite kits. There were two of these meetings, with a few dozen participants at each meeting. He's planning more in 2024... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In fact it looks a lot like our get togethers during our St. Crispin's Irregulars Hobby Days; come to think of it.
